End of Life Doula

Rev. Dr. Rhonda Schienle is an End of Life Death Doula Specialist/Educator serving the Northwest Indiana communities.

An End of Life Doula is a non medical professional who provides support to another individual during a time of transition by providing education, information and resources; emotional and holistic care; and physical support.

Rev. Rhonda serves her clients, families and community in a compassionate and supportive role. Her life and professional experience is complementary to further assist those in the final stages of their lives.

A Death Doula is a bridge to the Hospice Team, client/patient, family members and their beloveds. A Doula does not replace any medical team and their duties. A Doula is able to help in a companion care role, educating the families on the stages of dying, legacy, bucket list wishes, advance directives information and grief support.

A Doula helps clients and their families navigate the overwhelming moments and facilitate compassionate conversation, helps the family have that sacred and quality time with their beloved. A Doula empowers and educates families in knowing their rights, choices and all options during this utmost importance phase of life.

Life is sacred and time is a precious commodity.
